Patient Access CMA/Liaison

Receives patients at registration area in a courteous, professional manner verifying demographic and insurance information.  Collects copays, down payments and time of service payments from patients.  Schedules appointments and communicates with patients regarding cancellations or rescheduling as appropriate. Answers all incoming telephone lines and transfers calls or takes messages appropriately.  Performs duties related to direct patient care under the supervision of physician, PA/NP, and/or registered nurse.  Duties could include, but are not limited to, preparing room for procedures, placing patients in examination rooms, ascertaining vital signs, assisting providers as directed, charts in electronic health record.

Full Time – 60 hours per pay period
