Madison County Health Care System is pleased to welcome Sara Zelinskas, DPM, ABFAS, as their new Podiatric Physician & Surgeon. Dr. Sara Zelinskas will begin seeing patients on Wednesday, October 5th in the Health Trust Physicians Clinic.
Dr. Sara Zelinskas earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Iowa State University and her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Des Moines University. She completed residency training in foot and ankle surgery at the Franciscan Foot and Ankle Institute in Federal Way, Washington.
Dr. Zelinskas provides general podiatric care and treatment for running related injuries, such as turf toe, heel pain and Achilles Tendonitis. She takes a conservative approach to treatment, utilizing therapies such as stem cell injections, when possible; however, in cases where surgery is the appropriate course of treatment, Dr. Zelinskas is an experienced foot and ankle surgeon. She is board qualified in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery and board certified in Foot Surgery through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Sara Zelinskas and her husband David Zelinskas, DO, MPH, recently moved to Iowa with their two daughters and have both joined our team of physicians at the Health Trust Physicians Clinic within this past month.
Dr. Sara Zelinskas is currently accepting new patient appointments and will see patients in Winterset on Wednesdays and Fridays.
